Yesterday was a lazy day spent pottering around the house. The Husband decided it was time to tidy up his herb & vegetable gardens as we had more of a growth spurt than what we had expected.
We could see that the tomato plants were drooping but we didn’t expect to find plump vine ripen tomatoes with at least 5 to a stem. He has had a bad run with tomatoes these past few years but a new truck load of top soil & the purchase of 10 plants later, every single one has flourished.
I think I’m more shocked that he enjoys having a veggie garden. We are now to the point where we only need to buy the meat for a meal as we have everything at our fingertips.
